Dem Rep Has 'Irresponsible' Theory: Jared Kushner Orchestrated Journalist's Death in Saudi Arabia Consulate

It comes as Germany's foreign minister called into question the sale of arms to Saudi Arabia.

Some US media reports said that Saudi Arabia is planning to come out with a repot in which it is expected to say that the interrogation of Khashoggi went wrong and was killed in the process.

The UK Foreign Office described it as "a awful act" and said the people behind the killing "must be held to account". The events "still haven't been cleared up and of course we demand that they be cleared up", she said Saturday. "I am going to go there and meet with my counterparts and continue to focus on what's in the Treasury's domain, as it relates to this issue".

On Saturday evening, President Donald Trump offered sharper criticism of Saudi Arabia's explanation of the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, telling the Washington Post " obviously there's been deception, and there's been lies".

The official also told ABC News that five Saudi intelligence chiefs, who were relieved of their duties in connection to Khashoggi's death, are not now suspects in the investigation, even though they were "part of the chain of command of the operation" and that "the operational orders. were written in such a way as to contribute to the series of events that led to the tragic death". Saudi Arabia said 18 Saudis were arrested and several top intelligence officials were fired.

Thousands of US-bound migrants storm Guatemala-Mexico border
On Twitter , Trump said he wanted " Mexico to stop this onslaught ", or he will use the military to "CLOSE OUR SOUTHERN BORDER". He even threatened that the migrant issue could undermine the recently re-worked trade deal between the US, Mexico and Canada.

After two weeks of denials, Saudi authorities admitted that Mr Khashoggi, a Washington Post columnist and prominent critic of powerful Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, was killed after entering the consulate in Turkey on 2 October.

Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), chair of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, on CNN explicitly accused Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of involvement.

"I do not think it is credible", the UK's Brexit Minister Dominic Raab told BBC. "So, what we would rather do is support the investigation, find out what happened". "That is not the focus of my trip".

Turkish government sources have alleged that Mr Khashoggi, a critic of the prince and the Saudi government, was tortured and murdered by a hit squad flown in from Riyadh.

Saudi Arabia's account of the incident has changed multiple times.

China plans to replace streetlights with ‘artificial moon’ by 2020
Apparently, testing has already started on the satellite and the plan is to launch it sometime in 2020. Some expressed concerns about light pollution and potentially negative impact on animals.

Turkish pro-government newspaper Yeni Safak has published what it said were details from the audio. Earlier this week, Trump said that there would be "severe consequences" if it is found that the Saudis murdered Khashoggi, and on Friday the president said that Saudi's announcement that it had suspects in custody was "a good first step".

"We haven't finished our review", he said. King Salman had handed the day-to-day running of Saudi Arabia to his son, whose reputation has been tarnished by the Khashoggi affair.

Global outrage over Khashoggi's October 2 slaying at the hands of Saudi officials, under still-disputed circumstances, has marked the greatest crisis in the 33-year-old's rapid rise, already tarnished by a catastrophic war in Yemen and a sweeping roundup of Saudi businessmen and activists.

His Treasury Secretary, Mnuchin, said he would not attend a Saudi investment conference on Tuesday, although he would still visit Riyadh as planned for talks with his counterpart there on joint efforts to counter terrorist financing.

The king also ordered a restructuring of the intelligence service, to be led by Prince Mohammed, suggesting the prince still retained wide-ranging authority.
