ANC set to oust President Jacob Zuma in no-confidence motion

Deputy South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and embattled President Jacob Zuma

At 11pm, the NEC instructed party President Cyril Ramaphosa and Secretary-General Ace Magashule to drive to Zuma's official residence Mahlamba Ndlopfu in Pretoria to give him an ultimatum to resign or face a recall. South Africans have heavily criticised protracted "transition talks" between Zuma and Ramaphosa that started last week, demanding an end to the impasse. The venue was on lockdown in the hour that the two left to meet Zuma and returned. Reuters news agency said Zuma's spokesman could not be immediately reached for comment. The NEC, however, rejected his conditions.

Another committee member told AFP that Zuma's response was "hogwash" and that the president had asked for three more months in office.

South Africa's chief prosecutor is expected to make a decision on whether to prosecute Mr Zuma on the old charges, which were reinstated previous year after being thrown out in 2009.

"We couldn't allow him to stay on".

Tommy Wiseau Wants to Play The Joker in Todd Phillips' Film
Sources say the story will take place in the '80s and have more of the look of a gritty crime drama than comic-book movie. Currently, the team is awaiting Warner Bros.' official confirmation before commencing studio negotiation.

"Our country is in a state of limbo... we can not continue to be in a state of limbo".

"South Africa's going through a period of uncertainty and anxiety as a result of the unresolved matter of transition", Magashule said, adding that the decision to demand Zuma's resignation was a hard one "taken after exhaustive discussions". He is expected to respond later in the day to a formal request from the ANC.

The ANC could throw its weight behind such a vote if it lost patience with Zuma, John Ashbourne, Africa Economist at Capital Economics said in a note. He added that "I will be out" if parliament votes against him in a motion of no confidence as expected on Thursday.

"The media is urged to await official notification".

Colts officially name Eagles OC Frank Reich as head coach
Reich, 56, has been with the Eagles during the past two seasons as Doug Pederson's top assistant on offense. Getting an offensive mind as strong as Reich should be huge for the Colts.

"I can confirm that the Chief Whip has called an urgent caucus meeting‚ which will sit at 10am tomorrow‚" said Nonceba Mhlauli‚ a spokesperson for the office of ANC Chief Whip Jackson Mthembu.

Both Zuma and the Guptas deny the allegations, the BBC said.

South Africa's governing African National Congress is preparing to table a motion of no-confidence in President Jacob Zuma tomorrow.

Zuma is already facing a no-confidence motion in parliament set for February 22 and brought by the opposition Economic Freedom Fighters.

Apple intern reportedly leaked iPhone source code
Now that it gathered attention, Apple filed a copyright takedown request to Github, forcing the site to take down the code. In summary, it is the program that loads iOS, and is the first program that runs when an iOS device is booted up.

The EFF has given Mbete until 10am on Tuesday to decide on a new date for the motion. He has emerged unscathed in a slew of no-confidence votes over the years despite the extraordinary number of corruption allegations against him, counting on the ANC's dominance in parliament to shield him. Previously the party believed ousting him would be a blow to the ANC as it would hand an easy win to the opposition.
